1940 US Census - Gordon Jordal
Here is the 1940 US Census for Gordon Jordal, son of Ingeborg
(Haldorsdatter Mæland) and Omund Jordal and grandson of Sigri Gunnersdatter and Ole Larson.
Gordon was living in Milan township, DeKalb county, Illinois with the Silas T Sanderson family as a hired man.

Here is the 1940 US Census for Anna (Jordal) Thuestad, daughter of Gunder and Anna (Larson/Larsdatter Jossendal) Jordal and granddaughter of Sigri Gunnersdatter and Ole Larson.
Anna was living with husband Edward Melvin and their children Vernon, Marlene and Donald. The family was residing in Malta township, DeKalb county, Illinois.

Update
I haven't been very active in pursuing my research the past few years
and have noticed that my entries on the Opera blog website are no longer
available to view. I have deleted the previous link to the Opera
blog. I don't recall which entries I had posted so there are a few
that will most likely be forever lost.
